When I met Jenna and Cam for the first time, I can remember thinking, "I HIT THE JACKPOT". Not only are they an incredibly good-looking couple, but they are also so kind, genuine, and down-to-earth. Sitting across from them at Starbucks felt like a couple of friends catching up and I instantly knew that they were a couple I would never forget. They came to me with one request; get good pictures.
Knowing I couldn't let them down, I set off on a mission the morning of June 11, 2016. My goal wasn't just to get good pictures though. My goal was to capture FABULOUS images that Jen & Cam would proudly hang on their walls and smile at for years to come. I didn't just want to please them, I wanted to WOW them. And yes... a little part of me wanted to make them cry. (Because let's just be honest- EVERY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER AIMS TO MAKE THEIR CLIENTS CRY).
Jenna and Cameron's special day was literally jam packed with sentiment. From a teary first look between Jenna and her dad, to a bright and sunny ceremony by the water, and the most romantic golden-hour I have ever seen, I knew Jenna and Cam's tissue box would be empty by the time they finally viewed their wedding blog. The Dominion Club provided the most elegant and classic backdrop for this relaxed, yet refined event. Colors of pink and gold created a sweet and airy vibe for guests who enjoyed delicious food by the golf course, signature Carolina Cocktails, and of course, CAKE!!
Between some truly hilarious dancing, tons of beautiful and heart-felt speeches, and a celebratory sparkler exit, Jenna and Cam's big day hit all the high notes and left no room for disappointment. Their photos turned out to be everything I could have hoped for, and ya know what? They might even cry. As I finally present to you my favorite photos from their big day, I can confidently say the exact thing I knew from the minute I met this special couple; I hit the jackpot.
*** I am so honored to have been a part of this beautiful day, and I truly can't thank Jenna, Cameron, or their amazing friends and family enough for their amazing treatment. I also have to give another huuuuuge shout-out to my amazing second-shooter (who captured some of these awesome shots), Carley York of CYork Photography. I could not have done this without you. ***
